Manhattan hotels suck. $300/night and no room service. And no in-room wifi. Luckily the awesome dude at the front desk found me a 50-foot ethernet cable so I can work from the bed with my foot propped up.
Crutches in the airport also really sucks, especially when you're traveling alone (and trying to function on 3 hours of sleep). Luckily DH was able to get a companion pass to help me out at Seatac this morning, and I'm on the same flight as my coworkers flying home tomorrow. And I ended up getting moved to first class (which was pretty sweet), because the woman who's seat I took wanted to sit next to her husband in coach.
But I had to have the wheelchair assist at JFK, and had to have her help me get to the taxi, etc.
But, I'm ridiculously excited that my brother and his girlfriend are coming into the city tonight to meet up with me for dinner, etc. I seriously don't get to see him enough.

jumped ship to the new and improved nest. back to TB for baby boards.
We stayed just off the park when we went on our honeymoon and spent $650 for two nights in the tiniest room ever, with no services at all. And i loved it
Of course, i didn't have a cast, and i was travelling with my husband, so there's that. Good luck and have fun tonight!
