I wanted to give you a Simon update!
I've been doing the " come in immediately if you bark" thing and its helping tons! I do sometimes have to let the little ones go and just go out with him so he will actually go potty but other than that its been helping!
And I took him on a walk with me this morning and he totally ignored all the barking dogs but one and didn't bark or growl at any of the people we passed while on our walk!

Such a great update, and such fast results! Staying consistent can be such a pain, but dogs really are smart enough to get with the program if your expectations are clear. They really do want to make us happy.
Despite years of training, I still sometimes have issues when we're out on walks. It's usually unattended dogs in their yards that try to fence fight with my dogs, so I can't fully blame my dogs for barking back, but they're so big they usually yank me and I end up sore.
