So I'm obviously way out of the loop since I haven't stepped foot in a gym in ages. I know you've posted on here about crossfire before & your fb photo post has me even more intrigued.... What exactly is crossfit? Any good resources to check out?
Re: **Cassidy**
Our crazy, wonderful life
Yeah, I'm obsessed. We often reference is as "the cult" around our house. But it's a totally addicting way of working out... constantly varied, functional movements performed at high intensity.
The Crossfit main page has a good explanation of the background:

Here is the explanation from my gym:

I also have a bunch of blog posts saved from people explaining "Why I Crossfit". Here is one of my favorites:

Those can probably explain it better than I can, but I can answer questions! We just got new shirts made at the gym that say "Strong is the New Skinny". Love them!
Thanks for asking. I did go to the chiro and I definitely got some relief. Most of my pain is in my tailbone, and it moved really well, so my discomfort is down about 30-40% this morning. The real reason I went yesterday, however, is I was totally locked up from however I slept, so that feels at least 50% better today.
I really hate to complain because I don't really have any other symptoms right now.... I feel good!
Butting in
Melissa, I know you're in western MA, but if you're in the city, here's a small blurb about/from my BIL and the gym he goes to

Thanks so much for the links Cassidy! I'm definitely intrigued (and slightly intimidated!) by the program.... I may look into it after the baby's here & things calm down a little bit
And thanks for the link to Jill!! It's a little too far from me, but a great article
