Recommend your optometrist?

Well, it's time for me to face the music.  I think I finally need to have my eyes checked   Here's hoping I've just had some random killer headaches lately and it doesn't mean that I'm finally due for reading glasses!

Who do you see and/or recommend? 

I am looking for someone preferably in WDM, Urbandale, or Clive.

Dr. Ball at DSM Eye Surgeions 225-3546- I LOVE him! He's amazing! My whole family uses Des Moines Eye Surgeions. (Plus he got his degree at Iowa)

I saw whoever's at Ashworth Vision, at 60th & Ashworth last year as I was having daily headaches at work, and wanted to be sure my vision hadn't changed.  I had LASIK done in 2005, with no recheck since then, so I think I must have gone May 2010 for the check here.  I knew it'd be easier to get reading glasses than convince work I needed a better computer monitor.  They were very friendly and professional, and gave out some great samples and coupons of eye drops.

I go to an ophthalmologist in WDM, but know several people who go to the Wylie Eye Care center in the same strip mall as Incredible Pizza off 86th right near us to see Penny Williams.  I teach her kids and they are good people )

I went to one hour optical next to hu hot and jasons deli, quick and cheap. I really liked the doc and she gave me 2 free pairs of contacts to try out before I bought a new brand.
