Here's my ND jersey that I made from an old one that DH had with snags all over the shoulders:

Here's and old IU men's tee I redid:

I'm going to change the straps out to black jersey material though.

This is an oil pastel I drew for my BFF's b-day.  It's not quite finished in this one, but I'll update with the framed piece later:

I've just been playing around with a lot of stuff lately.  These are the most recent things I've made.

Re: Project pics

  • Thanks!  I love that jersey so much more now and it's perfect for September tailgating.  ND is amazing to tailgate.  I have 7 different families that all run parties in the same places yearly and when I worked in radio we had a girl who lived across from campus that would throw 100+ person tailgates with the station truck in her yard.
  • Very nice! I keep thinking about repurposing some of DH's old tees, but haven't gotten that far.

Thanks!  I've had a lot of fun with it.  I can send you some of the tutorials I've found on Pinterest.  Most of them take less than a half hour.

Sounds good. I was thinking about taking some of the numbers off and sewing them onto an old purse or something.
