Back story: I've always struggled w/weight, did good when I moved her, gained when I met DH & really gained during my 1st pg. I bloated/retained water so bad I got to 250lbs! Definately the lowest point in my life. I did good w/DS, but just stayed the same. Well, the past 2 months I've been walking outside, pushing the double stroller (gives you a good workout, esp. the hills around where I live).
I've been checking the scale each day since last Wed. (bad I know) to make sure it was real, but I've finally hit the 198/199lb mark! The first time I've been under 200lbs since before I had DD-so at least 4 yrs ago!
Now I hope I can keep it up on the treadmill, which means getting up early before the kids. Guess I can do that if I want to keep losing the weight. I even bought 2 "L" shirts at Kohl's because the XL was too big! So for any of the gals trying to lose weight/baby weight, hang in there, you can do it! :=)

Yay!!!!! Congrats! I know the struggle of losing the 'baby weight' for sure! I gained a lot suddenly with my first/retained a ton of water with my HBP I developed with him and bed rest. I stayed home with him for 10 months and didnt lose much at all. Then I went to work and the weight melted off. Just before I hit my 'goal' weight, I got pregnant and barely gained anything....until the end when I bloated up again and developed HBP again. I haven't lost any- and actually think I gained since moving here
Dh has gained too.
I'm planning to join Planet Fitness in Northville and going at night 2-3 nights a week and weekends. Join and we can go together (when you have child care or dh is home)!!! Lord knows (I seriously just typed nose!) I need some accountability
