Remember that time Maggie was ready to kill (though he was already dead) that bear on the beach and wouldn't let me approach it?
Remember all of Dexter's defensive issues with the mean neighbor dog? How we are considering training OUT his protectiveness just for some control of the situation?
Not to mention when they heard the bears outside getting in the garbage (again, not the night I went out to see the "raccoons" if you saw that fb status) they were both growling and pacing and guarding the door.
But apparently a medium strength wind/rain storm is THE END OF THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!! The only way I will get to sleep tonight is if we let them sleep with us. Crying and whining like it's going out of style!

lol... I remember when Payton was a puppy and she would "play" with the dog in the mirror... wagging her tail, trying to pounce on it (only to run into the mirror)... soooo cute.
lol first of all this post is hilarious. I have a huge german sheppard akita. When he was a puppy he thought he was tough Sh*t...took him through a car wash and he literally crawled UNDER my steering wheel and I coulnd't move the car.
The other part of this post that has me scratching my head...did you say there was a dead bear....on a beach??
Blog
Well yeah, I live on the coast, and once there was a dead bear on the beach. We aren't sure if he drowned in the river and was swept out to sea, got disoriented and drowned in the ocean, or just died on the beach. He was ginormous, and I was walking with Maggie and she wouldn't let me approach it to get a look. If I hadn't had her on a leash she would have tried to kill it. She was very concerned for my safety from the thing lol
