Poll: What were your wedding colors...

and would you keep them or change them if you could do it over again??  I loved looking at everyone's cakes and we had some many different color combos!!

Mine were black and white, with pink and orange flowers.

Do it over again: I would keep the same colors cause I loved the color combo.

Re: Poll: What were your wedding colors...

  • Mine were supposed to be light pink and champagne with hints of brown, but it turned into more "pink and brown."

If I could do it over again, I'd aim for my original vision a little better.

  • Mine were black and red.

If I could do it over again, while I still like it, I would go more earthy, greens and browns.

  • Purples. Yep I would keep it the same.

  • I wanted blue, white and silver. Unfortunately that changed when I bought a champagne colored dress. So it was a mash of a lot of things. If I had it to do over, I'd probably keep the blue, white and silver and find a white dress since I hated my dress anyway.
  • Mine were light blue and ivory. I was happy with them and so was DH. The only reason I would change was if I were to have had a fall wedding like I wanted but since I was teaching at the time couldn't have.

  • Our colors were pink and green. Mostly pink accessories and the girls dresses were green. I would stick with it!
  • Tiffany Blue and chocolate with accents of silver.

    I'd still keep the colors.

  • Mine were pink and brown. And I wouldn't change them. Love that combo

  • We had aqua blue, with hot pink and orange accents. We used some black, too.

Although I like a lot of other color combos, I don't think I would change them if I had to do it over.

  • We had Royal Blue and like a Seafoam Green.  I orginally wanted Blue and Pink, but I am glad I did Blue & Green.  I would stick with those colors if I did it over.
  • Navy, white, lemon and lime.  Loved it - still do.

If I got a 'do-over' wedding though I'd get married in the Fall, not the Summer, and I'd do dofferent colors only b/c it's the Fall.

  • Red with some pink accents in flowers and such.  I still love it and would keep it the same.

  • Cornflower blue, black and white.

If I ever get married again (or had to re-do my wedding), I don't think I would have a color scheme.

  • Light green and raspberry. I loved those colors and I would do them again.

  • green & ivory with pink & orange flowers.... I still love the colors, but if I were to do it again now I'd definitely be one of the gray/yellow combos I think
  • fuchsia and orange-would totally do it again... so bright and happy! perfect for our laid back/outdoor venue.

  • We had hot pink and aqua. I loved it then and I love it now.

  • Mine were light green and orange. I loved the combo! I would definitely do it again because it was so pretty together and it is both DH and I's favorite colors.
  • Mine were a pale turquoise color and green.  If I could go back in time, I would absolutely choose something different, probably either navy & bright yellow w/lavender accents, or steel gray with bright yellow & black accents.

  • Mine were cornflower blue dresses and orange flowers. I still like it. I kinda wish I did a purple, but I never found the right purple for me.
  • Black and white with silver accent. I wouldn't change it, only because I'm anal about matching. I loved some of the colors on here.
  • Ours were hot pink and light green. While I love those colors (green has always been my favorite color), I think I might do something different. What'd I do, though, changes daily. Yellow/gray, Navy/light green, aqua/orange, orange/yellow/hints of lime, the list goes on. I think my colors were perhaps not the most sophisticated, but again, that changes as the trends change, so there's no "right answer".
  • Ours were light pink, sage green and silver.  I would keep it if I had a summer wedding again... green is my favorite color and I adored the girls' sage dresses.

However, like naylon, if I had a re-do wedding it would be in the fall and I'd have burgundy or cranberry with champagne and chocolate.

Ditto almost all of this. My colors were sage and light pink, but I always wanted a fall wedding with reds and oranges.

  • SmilePink and orange! Loved the combo and still do! I wouldn't change it
  • Pink and green here! I would still do the same colors, I just wish the pink (like in the flowers) had been the deeper shade I so wanted.
  • We used pink and orange.  It was a totally random choice that just came to use one day at lunch.  And yeah, I would definitely use those colors again.  Those colors were so fun!

We were originally going to use purple and a goldish because our HS and college colors were purple and gold.  Since we had been together for a lot of those years - we thought it made sense.  However, something just clicked and we decided to switch things up.

We were sitting at lunch 18-24 mo before the wedding and I asked dh his favorite color because I was questioning our wedding colors.  He said, "I don't know what's your's right now?"  I said pink...which, in itself, is weird because I was never a pink girl.  And he said, "seriously??  OK, mine is orange."  He was totally joking because he never expected me to say pink.  And that's how we came up with pink and orange.  We both ended up really loving the color combo in pics that we looked up that evening.

Ours were royal purple and honeydew (light green). I loved our colors and also love all of the combos Allie listed above. Especially the Navy/light green.

  • A dark pink and burnt copper color. Loved them, and they were perfect considering we had a sunset wedding and they're found in the sunset. I would definitely do it again!
