another AW :) new sewing table w/ pips
DH kicked me off the kitchen table after the new floor was finished.. so I decided to make a new table in my office. We used 3 target bookshelves with doors ($~75) and a sheet of laminated particle board from lowes (~$30). My new table is 135in long, 32in high, & 24in deep. I also put up some pegboard ($30 for two 2ftx4ft sheets) & an old bulletin board that I covered with wrapping paper. I know it will eventually look crappy & torn, but I can always recover it. (ignore the fact that I desperately need some curtains!)

Very cool idea for the table- it looks awesome- so much SPACE!
I like that! My craft room is probably now going to be consolodated into a guest room/craft room (but the reason is wonderful). I like how you did that table and it would work GREAT in the space we have. Great inspiration!

However, I vote that you send your guests to a hotel & take the whole room for yourself.
Well, if the "guests" didn't go by the names of grandma and grandpa and do free babysitting...I would! LOL! But, I won't complain, they actually gave us $$ to buy ourselves a new bedroom set so they could use the old on in the guest bedroom! We had an air matress in the old house that we would use--guess they are tired of it (although we always offered our bed--but you know how g'parents are!).
