Wanting to garden in November in Michigan
Why oh why does the urge to garden spring up on me when it's almost winter and it's starting to snow? I love to garden and it's getting me super excited for spring to come around. If you live in michigan or anywhere south of ohio you know that the winters well... kinda suck. So dreary and wet. I think we should just skip winter all together and move onto spring. Hands show who want to skip winter to start gardening?

I just moved into a new house and set up my square foot garden last weekend in anticipation for the spring. I did plant some garlic in a couple squares so they can grow all winter, but I'm so ready!!
I support an eliminating winter.
I'm also in MIchigan (hi Wendy).
To tide you over, you can do some indoor herbs, or research for next year. Last year I made a few terrariums.
We're overwintering carrots for the first time this year. So, while there's not much to do, I'm still gardening in November in MI.
