New baseball changes

Thoughts?  Any Astros fans want to chime in?  I don't like having inter-league all year, I like how it is now.

If MLB implements a system in which inter-division teams play virtually the same schedule, then I support it. Interleague play the way that it is now is unfair since teams in the same division play different (sometimes radically different) schedules. 

I am against the 1 game wild card playoff. Had there been a 1 game playoff this past season, the final weeks of the season would have been incredibly lame. The Sox, Rays, Braves, and Cardinals would have had nothing to play for until the playoff game. Instead, we had close races in each of the leagues that culminated in 1 final amazing night of baseball unlike any we had ever seen before. We don't need artificial drama. 

As for the Astros, I have no opinion on them moving to the AL. I only hope that the new owner turns that team around.

Astros fan here... le sigh. it's been a ROUGH year. I've been a huge proponent for the NL because I am anti-DH but what's done is done. I hope that the new league and the new owner will turn things around for the team... hard to believe we're only 6 years out from a World Series run.

one thing I'm SUPER upset about and what my hubby and I have been talking about for the past year: we're never going to have a Astros/Rangers World Series. I know that was a pipe dream, but it was possible. my husband's two favorite teams are the Rangers and the Giants, so he had the opportunity to see them in person last year (and went to see the Rangers this year). so me, as an Astros fan, and my husband, as a Rangers fan, a World Series would have been ultimate for us. but it won't happen, alas.

2 teams in the same division cannot play each other in the first round of playoffs but can in the second.
