Any pre-holiday fun going on this weekend?
I'll be spending the weekend doing shopping and prep for Thanksgiving dinner. I need vegetable stock for the turkey brine but can't find it anywhere, so I'll be making that, cranberry sauce, a test run on a pie idea I had, and figuring out the seating/table set up and centerpiece(s)? We have 17 people coming for dinner (24 for dessert) and I'm not sure how they'll all fit. While I'm doing this, with Alex's help which is why it will take me all weekend, H will be making Alex's new bed. Hopefully he can finish it quickly so we can setup the girls' room before all the company comes over. Also, I'd love to get some Christmas shopping done so I don't have to think about it. Alex's Elfster gift went out Tuesday, but I still haven't figured out what to get my Elfster pick.
Re: Weekend plans?
I think I'm leaving early today to go home and clean (dork alert!) and then I'm going to see Breaking Dawn w/ a friend at 5.
Tomorrow I'm going wedding dress shopping with the same friend and we have our Friendsgiving tomorrow night and book club.
Sunday we're heading back to our hometown to do another Tgiving at church w/ my family and then we probably need to run some errands Sunday afternoon to make sure we have everything for our trip.
I'm going out with some girlfriends tonight to an improv show, I just hope I can stay awake!
We have our infant care class in the morning and then MIL is coming to stay with us tomorrow night before she flies back home. Which means I have to find time to clean in between the class in the morning and her getting there, ugh. But my SIL is bringing down our niece so I can take some newborn pics of her too, so at least I get that out of the visit
Trying to work on the baby's room in there at some point too.

Just celebrating my birthday!!!
No real plan. H is working Saturday so we'll probably lounge around. I'm off all next week so I'll save my errands for then.
Sunday - something to celebrate. Not sure what or where but I'm looking forward to it.
Tonight: No plan. DH was invited to a hockey game at the last minute and now I'm sitting home alone and bored. I really hope I find something to do because I'm already bored and it's not even 7:00 yet.
Tomorrow: I'm heading to my friend's new house to help her paint. I'll probably be there most of the day. Then, tomorrow night, DH and I will probably go see BD.
Sunday: No plan, which is fine. I like not having plans on Sundays.
