Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Babysitter help?
H just got a job offer this evening (yay!). He starts Tuesday afternoon, which is the same time I'm scheduled to work (boo!). I might be able to get my hours switched for that day, but if not, would anyone be willing to watch Ella from 4pm until 10:30pm on Tuesday?
We think that we will be able to work opposite schedules for the most part. However, I know that with my position there will be times that that will not be possible. Is it the Kid's Room that has been recommended for drop-in care? Does anyone know of anything closer to the Ankeny or Altoona area? I'm guessing the centers wouldn't be available for late evenings, huh?
Would someone be willing to watch Ella for the occasional late evening or weekend? I'm thinking it would be no more than 10 times a month where we'd need late evening or weekend care. (Ok, that actually sounds like a lot.)
She will be 6 months the end of this month. For the most part, she's a very happy, attentive baby...who is just learning to crawl. We'd provide milk or formula, food, diapers, wipes, extra set of clothing, and even toys.
