Re: B&M Monday
I made chocolate pumpkin bars I saw on the Today show the other day, and they turned out to be a little too sweet. I was gonna make them for Thanksgiving, but thats not gonna happen now.
My real B&M is that we have had the maintenance people come down to our apartment to fix our hot water 6 times, and its STILL not fixed. We're the only people in our building thats not getting consistant hot water. Taking cold showers is not how I want to start my day. and its only in our bathroom. In our kitchen its fine. I have no clue what to do. Our lease doesnt end until April.
What's wrong with the Plus sized board?
Danielle - Hope you get hot water soon! That really sucks especially right now.
I think I messed something up last night. I won't know for a while if I did permanent damage, but who knows. Either way it is what it is.

I'm slightly concerned now because the target of her attacks randomly showed up on GP this morning. Probably just coincidence but that is such a drama free board, I cringed to see her name.
That being said, I have a test in an hour. I turned in my 26 page research paper this morning, so I plan to coast through math class tonight and then enjoy the rest of the week!

I have no B&M this morning. I had a stupid-busy but still wonderful Sunday, slept well, and kicked boot camp's BUTT this morning.
Now I have an hour to shower & get some work done before taking my mom to go see Breaking Dawn. Hopefully all the goofy teenagers are in school for the 11 a.m. show!
I saw it on Saturday... and this may be an unpopular opinion... but I thought it was just okay. Maybe reading all of the books have ruined the movies for me. But I felt "eh" about it.

I read an article that said the biggest reason women love it is because it's so bad it's good. And I get that, I kind of love bad movies.
Deepthi, you're so right. There's a reason I haven't been over there since we all came here.
I reallyreallyreally don't want to go to work to day. Between working two jobs, starting at a second campus at TCC last week, and all the commitments we've had lately and have coming up, I feel like I'm just running around like crazy. I have a feeling I'm going to drive to the wrong place for work one day! ETA: It's good to be busy. I'd rather have this than like last summer when I was so bored!

We were unable to fix our shower yesterday and have to call a plumber. I really shouldn't be complaining that we are still taking baths but I have not had a good hair day in weeks and it's taking me so much longer in the morning.
While we were engaged, we went over to one of DH's friends house one night (who were married) and they had a chore chart on the fridge for the two of them. I thought it was weird...they were adults, for starters. Chore charts are for kids! Yep, I'm understanding why they had them now.

Only thing to B&M about today is that I haven't made it to the grocery store yet. I'm kind of dreading that later today. Otherwise, it is a short week, I went to bootcamp this morning (and it kicked my butt), and tomorrow I get to go see my friend that had a baby last week! Yay!
Oh, I also went shopping yesterday, and bought a new entertainment center for our den. It was on backorder until mid-January which is perfect! Now I can have Christmas and then repaint and move out the old armoire before getting it! Now Santa may have to bring us a new tv too!
And I got a lot of great ideas for Christmas presents for my family. Yay for Christmas!

Ooh, speaking of shopping..
We bought our new range and dishwasher this weekend!! Can't wait for it all to arrive on Friday, just in time for our Thanksgiving festivities on Saturday!
Whatever I was sick with last weekend was just the beginning of whatever I have this week. I am sucking it up and paying $140 to go see the dr today at 2:45.
Breaking Dawn - Even though I waited for almost 3 hours to see it on Thur I even went in with no hopes of it being a good movie. This was by far the worst movie and not that I expected it but I wish the acting would improve even a smidge.
I will say I cannot wait for Hunger Games and will be reading the books again before the movie comes out and the actors in that movie actually give me some hope that the movies will be good.
I'm here. Everything is moved. In the past, I've moved... a lot. I do have to say that the movers we used on Saturday were by far the best movers I've ever worked with.
Other than that, I'm just pretty exhausted today.
I got nothing either really. I'm a little bummed we're going out of town for Thanksgiving--I was sort of hoping to stay home and cook myself. But we're coming home Friday instead of Saturday so I can put my tree up and do my Christmas cards. I'm just so happy the holidays are starting!
Anna/Tiffany, any updates for us? Don't want to say too much but just wondering if you guys had heard anything?

Nothing too much to B&M about... busy weekend for us, and now we have a busy week! (we both have to go into work on friday.. bummer!!)
Chore chart on the fridge.. we totally have one. not to check off all the time.. but to remind the other half there are other things to be done.
And as for xmas, i am miraculously almost done shopping. i've got one big thing left to buy for the husband, and a few small already picked out gifts for siblings, then i'm done!
