Sewing Question

In our new condo, we have this great little pantry opening in our kitchen, but no covering for it... like no door or anything.  (Oddly enough, we have on in the bathroom as well)  We're just renting, so I don't want to do anything big to close it off like put in a door, but I thought hanging a curtain in front of it would take care of everyone seeing all of our food. 

 Originally, I was going to hang one window curtain on a tension rod, but the pantry is only 20" wide, and all the curtains I found were 54+ inches.  So, my question is, is there someone I can pay to make me a simple curtain?  Would a tailor do that?  It should be SUPER simple... all it needs is the pocket at the top to slip the rod through and a stitch along the sides to finish it.  Unfortunately, I have no sewing machine or sewing skills, or else I'd try to take it on myself.

I would suggest that you just buy some fabric (fabric comes in 45" width) cut it to the size you want and use clips with rings to clip your fabric to the bar.  It's super easy and pretty inexpensive. (Less than it would cost to hire someone to do it for you)  I used these for curtains and I got them at JoAnn's. 

This is what the clips look like (although, there are some much more attractive styles, mine were a brushed nickle polish)

::butting in:: I love this idea. We have a small window above our sink that is uncovered because I can't find a curtain to fit the tiny opening. This will be perfect!

I would add that, if you are worried about unfinished edges (like I probably would be), just buy some fabric glue or iron on seam stuff to just fold the edges in.  Then you don't have to worry about any sewing.
