I finally figured out what all I needed to make and pack- we leave Wed and drive 1.5 hrs to my family. Then load up Thursday and drive 1.5 hrs to spend with the ILs where we'll stay until Sat. On our 2+ hr drive back Sat we have appts to see 6 houses.
I have all of my food items grouped and ready to cook tomorrow. I just needed to pick up those mints to make Tar's mint brownies. I've got my last load of laundry in the dryer so we can have clothes and I've been loading up the dining room table with things I need to take.
I dragged 2 kids through the rain into 2 dollar stores and 2 drug stores before I finally found those darn mints.
DH informs me that we are also responsible for rolls for Tday (not abig deal, just annoying).
Our realtor called and wants to book a showing at 1 tomorrow and 5 pm on Sat. Now I need to load all that crap into something, clean the house, and figure out when I'm going to get my cooking done. It'll be worth it if DH doesn't have to commute 3 hrs a day though.
Re: I'm having a Tday meltdown (tarheels was almost part of it)
I gotta tell ya - you're post sounds pretty calm, all things considered.
Hope everything goes well for you this week! (Especially the part about the 6 houses before showing off yours on Sat.)

Thinking of doing cosmetic updates to a dated home? These were our costs.
I'm a little more gathered now. The house is ready except vacuuming (which I'll do soon). The cookies and pasta salad are for Wed so I went ahead and made up my dough. I also boiled the pasta and tossed it in the vinagrette tonight. I'll mix in the other veggies tomorrow. It just sucks I need to clean, then cook then clean instead of cook then clean.
ls- we don't go anywhere for Christmas so we do tend to travel for Tday. It sounds like more trouble than it really is. I really don't fell rushed to do anything and we're usually home before noon Sat. Not this year though.
