Going to need a bigger knitting budget
I just got my first set of Addi Turbo needles (because my LYS was out of bamboo and I already have a project on my metal size 8 needles). OMG these are amazing! I was firmly in the camp that technique matters more than equipment, but I now need these in every permutation possible. I have almost finished a cowl I cast on last night.
Just thought I would share in case anyone else was waiting to take the plunge and needs something for a Christmas wishlist.
Re: Going to need a bigger knitting budget
Ha, don't we all!
If you really want all the turbos, I suggest looking into the full set of Addi interchangeable circs. It'll save you money over buying everything individually, gives you a lot of flexibility on cord lengths, and are so much easier to keep organized than individual circs IMHO.
I got mine as a birthday gift a couple of years ago and love them
Ditto to a T. My LYS had them 40% off one time and that's when I snagged them. They're awesome.

haha. I'm asking for the Harmony Wood interchangables from knitpicks for Christmas (and for my birthday mid-January if I don't get them for Christmas). I bought a set of inexpensive 29 inch cirulars (it has 1-15 I think), but one of them broke recently, so I figure the rest aren't far behind.
These were my Christmas gift to myself last year. LOVE Them! Now, I even picks patterns that call for needle sizes that I have harmonies for. Everything else feels "icky" now.

I had the Harmony Wood interchangables on my list, but now I think I want these instead. It is like knitting with butter.
Of course the last project I knit with Harmony Wood needles was with cotton, so I might need to do a little more research with several new projects in different fibers.
I got my Addi interchangeable circ's last year for Christmas. OH.MY!! I've not looked back! I am lusting over the lace and the bamboo ones, though....!
My family keeps asking me what I want for Christmas and I have no idea.
Is it bad that I'm considering asking for a set of Harmonies to add to my collection? I mean, I don't really need another set of interchangeable circs, but part of me has always wanted wood ones and I know the Harmonies have sharper tips....
Tell me I'm crazy and that I don't need more stuff
Or tell me they're going to spend money on me anyway and it might as well be on something fun if I can't think of anything else
