Everyone is asking me for ideas for Christmas. I don't really need anything. Besides asking people to donate instead, which I have, I need some ideas.

I don't really need anything either and I feel like I'm being greedy if I ask for specific things.

That's a good one. I have a small pink one that I got in college, but I want a large black one. However, I need a new bag like I need a hole in the head.
Same here. DH will roll his eyes if I ask him to get me a bag, but they're great for rainy days like today!
Don't judge, but I asked for black and chocolate brown ugg minis. They seriously are super comfy and warm.

i kind of feel this way too. i know she doesn't care but my cousin (who is like a sister to me) has much more disposable income than we do and always gets me, dh, and ds GREAT gifts. i try to replicate by making mine awesome and something i know she would really enjoy and putting enough thought into it that money doesn't matter. but, i still feel bad.
i wish we had more of a slush fund this year but with maternity leave, nicu stay, and some other stuff- we just don't. boo.
I really want the IOU for Newsies too. I'll keep wishing.

I totally hear you girls. I tried to cut down on the spending this year- with numerous house repairs, my hours at work getting cut, and some other issues, we just don't have a ton of money sitting around...and at the same time, it seems like there are a million things coming up that are making us spend even more. I wish I could just say to everyone NO EXCHANGING AT ALL! but that wouldn't happen. I feel like a Scrooge! We also have some family and friends who are so, so good to us and Aisling, and I feel like a cheapo when they give some extravagant gift and I give something that I put thought into but is obviously way less $. (even though I know they don't care about that, it bothers me)

Like everyone else, I've had to cut back on spending so I'm trying not to goout of control on the asking either. I'm completely done with H's gifts and halfway with my mom, dad, sister and MIL. Those are the only people I shop for, so Christmas is easy for me.
