Thanksgiving side dishes ideas..
So I need to bring a couple side dishes to DH's aunt's house Thursday. She's providing both ham and turkey, others will bring dressing, peas, rolls, mashed potatoes, yams, etc. Traditional stuff. I used to bring green bean casserole because I make a really good one, but another in-law has started bringing it and I stepped back. Does anyone have a good mac and cheese recipe? And maybe something with broccoli or asparagus? I'm not seeing anything inspiring yet.
Thanks!

I like the S'mac recipe: http://www.smacnyc.com/mozz.html
A lot of people are raving over this recipe http://whiteonricecouple.com/recipes/cheese/stove-top-one-pot-macaroni-cheese-recipe/ because it's good even without butter (I haven't tried it.).
For the first one, you could boil your broccoli or asparagus with the noodles during the last few minutes. The second, I would just prepare your veg and add it later.
