update on baby isaac

we are out of surgery and isaac is doing great... there was a small complication during the procedure where when they were cutting through the thick part of the muscle a small hole was created in his stomach... this will prevent him from having anything to eat for at least 3 days while it heals up.. he is maintaining on IV fluids in the meantime and has a tube going through his nose into his stomach to suction everything out... he is taking it like a champ... much better than his mommy who is a mess.. i hate seeing him with so many tubes and wires being so little and i hate pumping and all i was looking forward to was feeding him again but now it might now be until friday... your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated... at least he is ok and we are on the downhill of this thing... thanks for the support

Oh my goodness, mama. Of course, Isaac won't ever remember any of this, and I'm so glad he's OK. I remember how irrationally upset I was when Lily had a gooped-up eye when she was just a few days old and I totally cried and flipped. I can't even imagine how hard this has been on you. I hope you're getting the rest and support that you need!
