Max is going for his 3rd set of ear tubes. he does great while the tubes are in, infection free, but as soon as they pop out (wh/ happens quickly, his body seems to regenerate quickly so his 2nd set that the Dr said normal last 18+ plus month was out by 12 months) his ears fill w/ fluid and he starts failing hearing test.
I had heard some stuff about chriopracticts helping w/ ear issues, but on his hearing test he did so poorly that I just want to open the ears up again so he can hear properly. (They said normal hearing is at 0-20 and Max was at 60 and I think one was at 70 - however he seems to hear, you call his name he turns and answers you - who knew testing hearing was kinda weird, it's one of those things you think you would pick up on if someone could not hear you or not)
Has any other mom have a kid that needed multiple sets of tubes, but the kid still out grew it, I hoping 3rd time is a charm.
Re: Children and Ear problems -
Not a mom, but an audiologist. He totally can still grow out of it. How old is he? It has to do with developmental changes in the ear.
PM if you have any questions!
