lasik recs?

I'm hoping to have lasik done on my eyes after the new year.  I'm tired of having to squint at the clock in the middle of the night and it would be nice to read that first big "E" on the eye chart with confidence again. Has anyone had it done?  Who did you use?  Did you like them?  Any tips?

Everyone in my family has used Joffe medicenter off 394 and Penn Ave (I think that is the cross street).  I didn't have any issues with my procedure and if you need any enhancements the correction price is half off the normal.  I'm actually going back next month to have an enhancement since my astigmatism has returned in one eye.

 I'd highly recommend them as they are great to work with and super helpful.  I would, however, make sure that your prescription hasn't changed like mine was or you may be going back for a correction like me.

I went to Dr. Whiting a the Whiting Clinic.

I also did a consultation at Joffe, but decided not to have the procedure done there. I had quite a few people who recommended Dr. Whiting, who had previously been with Joffe, so that's why I went there for a consultation. When I found out Dr. Whiting had opened his own clinic, I went to Whiting for a second consultation, and felt more comfortable at the Whiting Clinic. There wasn't really anything wrong with Joffe, I just felt more comfortable at Whiting and preferred to work with the doctor that had been recommended by so many friends/family.

I was very happy with my experience and would recommend the Whiting Clinic.

I had mine done at the Crosby Eye Clinic in Crosby, MN. It was considerably less expensive and was a super quick recovery. I was really impressed!

Late to reply but I was on vacation... My husband had his done at Joffe when Dr. Whiting was still with them.  The clinic is fine and he was happy with the results, but he LOVED Dr. Whiting.  I think if he would recommend someone, it'd be to follow Dr. Whiting.
