I finally took the plunge and bought a kindle. I bought one at Target on BF for $85. It is well worth the wait outside and in the line at the store. I was afraid they would run out but most everyone in front of me was getting an Ipod or a laptop.
I read a little bit on it and I like it. My FIL gives me money for Christmas so he doesn't know it yet but his money bought it and season 2 of The Vampire Diaries.
I need to get a case for it.
I still like my paperback books but it is so much cheaper buying kindle books then regular books.

Re: Bought a kindle
and they have a lot of free books! Watch some of the couponing blogs, they post a lot of the free books on there. I need to get better about reading, but now that I have my iPad, will probably use the kindle app on that and sell the kindle that I have.
