I'm trying to make Mcalls M6266 one size tote. The pattern layout shows selvedges and the fold. I have a piece that serves as the front and back. It shows me placing it on the fabric twice. Ok, if the fabric isn't folded, that will give me the 2 pieces called for. However, if it is folded, that gives me 4 pieces. But what about pieces like the bottom that only need 1 piece? Or the straps, where I need 2? I'm very confused...

Re: Tote Bag Pattern Help
PAIF and SAIF welcome. IVF questions welcome, too.
I went ahead and cut most of it out, piece by piece instead of doing the layout they suggested. The liner is a totally different fabric, so that wasn't it.
