What time is it EST? ?We had daylight savings time yesterday morning. ?The NFL games started an hour earlier for us last night, so I am guessing that the U.S. didn't. ?I'm trying to figure out if we're five or six hours ahead right now so that I know when to call someone.
Re: NER: Please help me
We make the switch next weekend.
So technically, it's still EDT right now, not EST*.
*I imagine this could only be a pet peave of a person who grew up without daylight savings time....
?
Haha! ?Strange counties in Indiana!?
lol Marquis. I am now picky about that too!
Katie: isn't it great? We are one hour closer to home for a week
ps. I am SO glad you made it back alive from your trip driving manual!
?
Actually, I attribute my current living status to the fact that I didn't have to drive. ?A friend decided to come along at the last minute who can drive a stick.?
I'd like to think the rest of the world is strange. Also, what is the purpose of it? If it was a farming thing, don't you think Indiana would be one of the states to have it? Le sigh. Oh well, Indiana is on it now (making sunset in the summer close to 10pm...).
Anyway, just wanted to add to the glad sentiments you're back alive. How was Poland??
It would be great if the Czech Republic was like parts of Indiana. ?We're on the far eastern edge of the time zone we're in and could have done without moving back an hour. ?The sun set at 4:30 yesterday on the eastern part of the country while we were driving back from Krakow. ?Sigh, it is going to be a long winter.
Poland was great, we really had a good time. ?DH wants to move there now.?
You should still learn! Driving a stick shift is a great skill to have. Actually, some car thieves in Milwaukee were recently unable to steal a car because they couldn't drive stick shift. I found it comforting to know that my car is harder to steal!
?
I plan on it. ?I just need to be able to downshift go in reverse before I trust myself to drive alone. ?I need a couple more lessons.?
Oooh, thanks for letting me know it's coming up. ?Japan doesn't switch at all, so I'd completely forgotten about it.
I still blame those kids I read about when I was 10 who wanted more daylight for trick or treating so it would be safer, so dalight savings should stop after halloween.?
