After an exceptionally busy day on Saturday we had an exceptionally lazy day yesterday.  Basically I laid on the couch all day reading and watching Netflix shows.  Score.  

It looks like this week will be a busy on at work, but that's not a bad thing.

Hello Ladies!

I'm back - I missed you ladies  We had an overall great week, and I am going to miss the shorts and flip flop weather.  The woodstove is already going at our house again!

Today I am back at work and trying to get caught back up, however it's hard to do when everyone is asking how the trip went.  I personally could use another week just to sleep.  My Christian is now sick with a full fledge cold, but it was expected since Zach was sick just before we left.

Now, I need to see if I can get a day off between now and Christmas to do some major Christmas shopping.

I will probably post a seperate post about our trip, and tips when traveling with young children when I have more time.

I was so not ready to get out of my nice warm bed this morning. The last 4 days off work have really spoiled me. I hope this week goes by fast. On the upside I am really excited about all the christmas shows coming on this week.

We have no plans for the week but a busy upcoming weekend so I am going to try and enjoy this week....if I ever get woke up.

I got a ton of christmas shopping done this weekend. I sat down and made a list last night of what I have left to buy and the list is suprisigly small. I am excited to be almost done.

Good morning!

We had a good weekend here! Saturday we went to get a tree (fake) and it's up with lights and a handful of ornaments, although I'm hoping to get more ornaments. It's so dinky (4.5 ft) but I propped it up on some boxes and I guess I do have to admit that the corner wouldn't hold a much bigger tree than that anyway.

I also went to a choral concert yesterday conducted by the same person who conducts the choir V and I used to sing in. It was really nice and I'm really hoping we can get back to the choir after Christmas.

Today, if Darian behaves, I'm going to attempt to make a few of these. One for us, and one each for his godparents.

Ringy- That is a very cute ornament!

Good morning, I am not happy to be back at work and school. This morning was so cold I just wanted to stay in my nice warm bed.

On the other hand Thanksgiving was great! My first turkey came our good and everyone seemed to like it. We did go shopping on "black Friday" but I didn't buy much. I totally feel like a grinch this year cause my Christmas tree is not even up yet and probadly won't be until a week before Christmas. School is totally kicking my a$$ right now so I just hope to survive until graduation.

Ooh Ringy, let me know how that goes. I've been looking for a good idea for a 1st Christmas ornament for Jackson. My other thought was to dunk his hand in paint and put it around a Christmas globe ornament instead. My fear is getting him to actually open his hand up. Little bugger always wants to make a fist and eat it.

Our weekend was uneventful. We did get our new camera, which has been a blast to play with. We're finding that we fill the SD card ridiculously fast, though, so a new one of those is going on our Christmas list. 

I also had a bummed out moment over the weekend when we were putting our Christmas stuff up. All our animals have their own stockings, and I cried when I realized Kirra wouldn't be there this Christmas. Our picture is going to be missing her as well. Just a crappy day I guess.

Hello!  After five days away, it was really hard to come back to work this morning.  Honestly, the only thing that motivated me to get up was the fact that if I didn't come in today, we wouldn't get paid on Thursday.

The weekend was great.  We (by which I mean I) got both Christmas trees up, after we went out and bought another one.  I seem to  have finally reached my wits end with the oldest tree and the branches that wouldn't stay on last year and chucked in January.

I spent a lot of Sunday afternoon working on this project I found on Pinterest.  I'm kind of excited about it.  I hope Jim doesn't think it's stupid.

Good morning! 

We had a good holiday weekend. Wednesday - Friday were busy with family stuff but the weekend was nice and relaxing. Our family Thanksgiving was interesting. The estranged part of the family was already there when we arrived. It was a little uncomfortable at first but once we all started drinking we all started interacting much more.

I didn't do any shopping but we'll see how I fare after Cyber Monday today. Sitting behind a computer all day with sales all over the place will probably be too hard for me to resist.

Good morning!

Today is my favourite day of the cycle of school, so I'm in a great mood. I get my worst class of the day over and done with at the beginning of the day and then I have my favourite 3 after that. PLUS, two prep periods. Day 2 totally rocks my world.

I've been holding off on doing any packing for our big, 5 ft move on Thursday. We only have 9 boxes, so we're going to have to shuttle stuff back and forth. At least my little brother is coming to town, so that'll make our lives easier!

Good morning!

My long weekend was great! Thursday we had Thanksgiving with both J's family and mine, it was great to see everyone.

My sister, mom, and I all went out Black Friday shopping at 9pm on Thursday. We started at Toys R Us which was by the far the worst store, we waited an 1 1/2 hrs to checkout! We hit several of the major stores and didn't finish up until about noon on Friday. Friday night and Saturday we mostly just relaxed and watched movies, as I tried to recover from Friday.

Yesterday J and I did some yard work and got all the outdoor Christmas lights hung, then we went to his parents house and helped them get their outdoor lights up as well.

I'm off today too, other than logging on remotely to run payroll but that won't take me too long. I'm planning on getting all the indoor decorations up today.

Hello ladies.  We did a ton of online shopping yesterday as we try to get things sorted for our trip back to NYC on Saturday. Between gifts we want to get delivered here to bring back with us, gifts we want to have delivered to NYC to bring back to London and gifts we want to have delivered to NYC to be shipped somewhere else, we're getting a little confused (and I'm sure my explanation did little to simplify things!).  But I think we got it all sorted out.  We also ordered our photo holiday cards, which should be delivered this week.

Now I'm thinking I should look for some more good deals today, although I really think I hit my shopping limit yesterday!

I've been off since last wednesday. It was a much needed break. I went home on Wednesday and helped my mom prep for Thanksgiving at her house. It was so much fun. That is my favorite part of Thanksgiving. We went to my In Laws on Thanksgiving and it was great. We didn't do any black Friday shopping. I haven't really seen any amazing deals the past couple of years.

Yesterday I put up our Christmas tree and decorations.

Morning ladies!  I'm having trouble kicking this cough, so I'm going to try and stay on the couch all day today and maybe do some online shopping.  

This weekend was great, it was gorgeous and sunny both days which I am NOT used to in November!  On Saturday we took a walk to Hollywood Blvd and back, which was about 8 miles in all.  We picked up HP and the Deathly Hallows 2 on Blu-ray - $9! - on the way home and watched it at night with popcorn and hot chocolate.

Yesterday was housework and football, and we took a walk in the evening to the Grove to see the Christmas lights and do some browsing.  It was a little crazy, so we bailed after a half hour or so to come home and bake cookies.  

I also got an e-mail on Friday for a job interview that I've set up for tomorrow, so I've been prepping a bit for that.  Fingers crossed something comes together!

I had a nice long weekend. Up until last night where O decided to wake up from 2:30 am to 6 am. Longest night ever! She's teething again but I am exhausted. I'm leaving work in about an hour to take her in for her flu shot and I'm really hoping we can both nap after that. Works been busy all morning so I haven't had much time to post. Hope everyone has a great day!

Ay yay ay...back to school...and back to sleepy.

This weekend was good...a perfect blend of busy and low-key.  I got everything decorated except our tree, I ran 23 miles over my 5 days off, and I spent some good relaxation time with Ed. Now I have 17 more teaching days until Christmas break....not that I'm counting.
