Lauren or any of the other ladies, I am also in Morgantown.  Been here for about a year.  We just got married in August (in Pittsburgh).  How are the plans coming?  Any recommendations on this area?  I haven't really found much around.

Hello, I'm here in Morgantown too. I got married last May and moved here from Houston, TX in July. 

I know what you mean about not having found much around here. Have you been to Oliverio's on the Wharf? Excellent Italian food.

 

We're still looking for a church in the area. Nondenominational preferably. Do  any of you go to church or know someone who likes their's?

Have you tried Chestnut Ridge Church? It is a large non-denominational church. I went there for many years a loved it. I still haven't found a church in my new area that compares. Pastor Tim is the best!!

oh, hai. i'm in WV as well. we moved to bridgeport in july from pittsburgh. we haven't found much here either. we were't really impressed with oliverio's. in fact, we haven't found any local eateries that we do like. buffalo wild wings it is! {sigh} but we're adjusting.

Moved here (Morgantown) in January and am still exploring the area. We attend Chestnut Ridge Church in Cheat Lake and absolutely love it! Our favorite restaurants are Cheddars -- you have to try the cookie monster dessert, Mountain State Brewing company (best to go on a weeknight), we also like Great Wall for takeout Chinese. The WOW factory is great for girls night out or taking the kiddos to do pottery, clay, mosaics, and glass fusing
