Nothing so far. The company that installed them came out with the sales rep for the product. The EZ Floor guy was pretty shocked, but the sales rep...basically their warranty doesn't cover scratches. In fact, no laminate floor warranty will cover scratches. Just an FYI. The idea is, though, that they won't scratch.
The sales rep claims it is a "plastic burn" from the toy wheels. And I called BS saying that I know too many toddlers with plastic wheeled cars and their parents haven't had this issue. He's supposed to come back this week with some products to see if they can remove the burns (basically looks like the finish was rubbed off) and fill in the scratches. He has to follow his protocol - I get that. He can't just say it needs to be replaced without following the proper channels, but I'm not going down without a fight.
The fact that my friend used EZ Floors just a few weeks after we did and that I said they've been rec'd so many times in my circle of friends made him soften up a little. I really don't have an issue with the EZ Floor guy - I think he'll be my advocate. But the product...I'm frustrated because when I look at the product website, it is a reputable manufacturer. I still worry that they will continue to damage and we've taken most of C's toys out of the room. So sad...he came home last week and looked at me "Where toys go?"
