oi really need some advice on this. i work with 3 other women in a special education classroom and i have to be honest there not the nicest people i've ever worked with! with the gift giving holidays days around the corner i'm torn between giving them each a gift. they don't feel the need to include me in anything or ask for my input. in addition one of them who is 8 or 9 years yonger than me treats me like trash! also, they know that i feel like this because i've spoken to them about it. what would you do and if you would give a gift what do you suggest? other than coal! lol
Re: Co-Worker HELP!!!
This is just me.
I would spend that money on myself
Have you worked there long enough to KNOW they do gifts?
The most I would do is make a batch of holiday cookies and give them that. You can put them in decoractive holiday cardboard boxes (Target sells them) to make them seem nicer. But really... that's about the extent of it.

I'd get a nice little 99-cent ornament from Walmart to have on hand just in case they have something for you. They might not. But if they do, you'll be ready. Get something you could use or give someone else in case you end up keeping it.
If you do want to spend a little more, $5 starbucks can always be used/reused. IMO, don't waste your time making something for them.
Sorry you're in this situation, but it sounds like you have some good suggestions on how to handle it. Good luck!
I agree. Honestly, I would try to do nothing because it doesn't sound like anyone I would want to buy a gift for! But I can appreciate the situation, and I think a $5 GC to Starbucks would do the trick. Quick and easy.
