Re: *tracyd21*

  • I have the recipe at home - I will post it tonight!  You have to look past the raw eggs, though...the brandy kills everything Stick out tongue

  • I will gladly look past the raw eggs :)

  • Here is the recipe:

    1 cup brandy

    1 can sweetened condensed milk

    1 pint heavy cream

    3 eggs

    2 tbsp chocolate syrup

    1.5 tsp vanilla extract

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until completely smooth.  The eggs will go bye-bye Stick out tongue.  I usually keep the blender on for a good while - maybe a minute or two.  This will fill a 34oz bottle and then some.  I recommend something like this to keep it leak-proof.  I buy them at Ikea.  Enjoy!

  • Does this have to sit for a while or is it good to go after you mix it?

  • Shannon- I have been known to drink it right out of the blender :)

  • If this is hanging out in the fridge, how long do you think it's good for?

  • Maybe a week or two.  I would go by the sell-by date on the cream.  I make it for my Christmas Eve party and there's never any leftover so I haven't had to worry about it expiring - but I should probably indicate that on my gifts.  Good call!

  • Sounds really good, thanks for sharing!
