CFL Mommies (or Mommies to be)....

I super duper highly recommend buying a Peanut Shell.  Zach has been really fussy these last two weeks if you are not CONSTANTLY holding him during the day, and I was at my wit's end because it meant I would mainly have to sit on the couch and watch t.v. (and I am not a t.v. person).  I purchased a Peanut Shell off of eBay and Zach LOVES IT.  I'm currently typing with TWO hands instead of one while he's sleeping in it.  I was also able to make and eat breakfast, get some laundry going, etc.

So if you're thinking of buying some sort of a sling, try this one out! :)

Re: CFL Mommies (or Mommies to be)....

  • I agree, slings are very handy! I had a hotsling, which I loved the few times that I used it. DS was born too small to go into a sling safely, so we didn't use it much. Luckily, he was happy wherever I put him. lol

  • It seems like a good idea..Lil seemed to like it when I put her in one but the two I have hurt my back too much. Of course my back hurts all the time anyways...it made it really bad though. : (

  • Good to konw.  I was planning on getting one, just not sure what kind yet.  Thanks!

Steph- when are you going back to work?

  • Save it for me when you're done with it.  I'll try it with the next one!  Big Smile  I hated the sling I have.  And the Bjorn was great when Rylie was a little older, but of course that has since been put away.

    Yes
  • Steph, he is so cute!

We love our slings-  I'm glad you found one that works for you.  I am still ringslinging Ava, and sometimes I carry her on my back in our babyhawk or beco (for those looking for something that will last longer than a bjorn, these are great!  And more versatile, and prettier.)
