question RE gift exchange

I asked this in another post, but I think it got lost.  If the deadline is Dec 17, is that a mail-by date or are we supposed to mail it earlier in hopes it gets to the person by the 17th?

definitely PIPs!  if you hadn't said anything I would have included my name in the gift, forgot this was secret, lol

All the exchanges I've done we always revealed who we were with the gift.

In general I thought that you would put your name with the gift. It's a secret until the person gets it....

Oh nevermind then. I think I'm the odd one out.

ETA: my present is already mailed out, but I didn't put my name on it. When should I reveal who I had?

When the person receives it and post on here saying they got it. Then I would say that it came from you.

You might try going in without the receipt to see if they'll do an even swap since they're both the same price - if they say no and insist on giving you a store credit (likely would be reduced because of the sale) you can always say, "I think I'm going to double check at home for the receipt, but thanks" and then walk out of the store with your frame and return it at another time with the receipt.

If you list it in your elfster profile you can choose (or maybe it's automatic, i don't recall) to have only the person who drew you be able to see it.
