Re: Good News Wednesday!
A friend asked me to be the Godmother of her son. I'm excited to have a new baby to cuddle and spoil, (hopefully) without being the parent.
H is away this week and I've been eating all MY favourite foods and drinking some nice Italian red wine with my dinners. Can't wait till later when it's an appropriate time and I can open a new bottle!
My PMS is so horrific right now I could really kill someone (or just really hurt) or break everything in our house.
Good news..I haven't....yyyeeeetttt
One of my friends baked me a chocolate cake with coconut-pecan icing for my birthday yesterday and left ALL the leftovers with me. I went home for lunch today and had a piece! It was glorious! I will probably have another tonight after dinner...
Also, I am so excited tomorrow is December. I can start my Belgian chocolate advent calendar, put up the xmas tree & decorate the apartment before DH comes home on Friday
We're headed to the Maldives on Christmas Eve!
My Israel Blog!
Drool.
My awesome news is that my dad's lung biopsy showed that even though his lungs are pretty thoroughly trashed, what caused it is likely treatable (in 80% of the cases they can cure it) and that will stop further damage, meaning he probably won't need a lung transplant!!
This is awesome news Kelly!
That's great that it's treatable! Fingers crossed that the good news keeps coming, Kelly!
Great, great news!
My good news is:
-I'm sitting in my super comfy PJ's while I type this, I'm warm and comfy and I like it!
-I had a big work thing involving the mayor this morning and it went awesome!
My food blog
What I'm looking forward to in 2012:
Eating our way through (northern) Italy on vacation

My maternity leave starts tomorrow! I will miss parts of my job, but I'm happy to have this time to focus on me, DH, and our home to prepare for baby.
How cool! We're going to TTC#2 in the spring, and I'm really really hoping that my SIL gets pregnant before or at the same time as me. I know they're trying for next year, and I'd love for us to be pregnant together.
DH and I had a massive, in depth, very painful discussion this evening about whether we should continue to be together. The good news part is that we decided to keep trying to make it work.
Maybe not very uplifting but it's what passes for good news around here right now!
That is good news. I'm happy for you. You have been in my thoughts!
Late to the game, but this is great to hear!
