DH's brother just got engaged last week. We are taking his brother and fiance out for a celebration dinner on Friday. They both attend school at the U and live near the Mpls campus.
Any dinner suggestions for restaurants in the Minneapolis area? We also bought them a digital camera as an engagement gift so we want to keep the restaurant reasonably priced. Thinking $10-15/person. We also are not opposed to 'family-style' dining where several dishes are shared. (We went to Tea House with them and DH's family for my birthday this month and we loved it, but want to try somewhere new with them.)
Ideas? Thanks!

Exactly what I was going to say!

The Loring Pasta Bar is good, but would be at the top of your price point.
Kafe 421 is also very good and also in Dinkytown.

Jinx! Loring Pasta Bar is also what I suggest.
I must be the only person who dislikes Loring. I don't understand the hype about it.
Kafe 421 is really good too, but can get pricey if you do appetizers and drinks.
I actually really like Blarney's for food on campus. It's definitely a campus bar, but it has more of an Irish pub feel to it. Just don't go after 7-8 pm (from what I remember) and you'll be fine.
If you want more bar food kind of thing, Sally's is really good too.
The U is only like 10 minutes away from Rosedale/Roseville so you've got a bunch of options up there, too!
