As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Some back story: I've been doing pro-bono consulting work for a non-profit for the past four years. I really believe in the organization's mission, plus, this will be good for my career in the long run. However, they recently got a huge grant and now will be paying me for my time.
I found out yesterday that it will come out to be about $6000 over the next six months, which will definitely make a huge difference in our income. When I told H, he congratulated me and then asked what I wanted to do with the money. I told him it would go toward our down payment, since that's our current big saving project. He said "You know, you could buy a kick ass quilting machine with that." !!!!!!!!
Of course, I still want to be practical about it, but maybe I could set aside a little bit of it and do some shopping once we move....
