We have dollar and two dollar coins here in NZ. Yes, a bit more heavy if you collect change in your pockets or at the bottom of your purse, but it's fine with me. In fact, I like it when I finally fish out all the coins from my bag and realize I have over 20 bucks in one and two dollar coins.
Our smallest coin is a 10 cent piece, and we do Swedish rounding, so if something is 5.04, it's rounded down to 5 bucks and if it's 5.06, then it's 5.10. I don't like pennies

I agree- they need to stop being an option and start being the norm. We need that $5.6B!
