Melting Snow!
The snow is starting to melt already and it is causing the snow on the trees around my house to fall off in big blogs onto my roof making loud bangs and freaking me out!

I was walking outside at lunch and got hit by falling snow/ice a few times when walking under trees!!
Funny story about melting snow on the roof.. the first spring in our house, we got a snow storm follow up with a lot of wind. Well this banging noise woke me up and it keep happening like every few minutes. So being the scary cat I am I woke DH up, he listening for a minute and I said someone is in our attic. He told me I was crazy, I insisted. He got up with a flashlight and went upstair looked in both attics (which wasn't easy since that was basically our storage area) and there was nothing in the attic. So we lay back down and he fall fast asleep and of course I can't fall back asleep. So I go upstair sit on the step and listen and to me it now sounded like something was trapped , a bird, squirrel or worst a giant raccoon. I went back downstairs and just laid awake the rest of the night. The next day I called animal control because I was set on something being trapped in my attic. They told me it was just the wind and snow, they had gotten a lot of calls that morning and if I heard anything the next night to call them back... Well they were right and the next night we both slept all night...
Now that I reread that maybe its funny only in my head...
While I'm so not looking forward to a long winter of commuting in the snow, it did feel less dreary with the snow. All the rain/grey skies were bringing me down.
LOL!!
I am very sad that the snow is melting because I really like looking at the pretty snow
