:( lost the auction...

Bidding was online and if the bids were high enough the house wound not go to the live auction but instead go to an online bidder.

I wound up in second place

:(

:(

:(

:(

The auction house said if the winner bid's finances don't work then I get it.

So there still is a little hope....

This.  I was in a multiple bid situation on a house last year.  I went to Detroit for work then I found out I lost the house.  Then I met my guy.  If I had that house, I never would have been able to think about moving, or even be able to afford to go see him. It all happens for a reason.

  • I agree everything happens for a reason! Maybe there are horrible neighbors or nasty mold lurking in the corners hidden under everything... Then again maybe the first place people will fall through... But no matter what happens be proud of yourself for stepping out of your comfort zone and taking a leap of faith to even bid in the first place! Yes Good for you!

Well it DOES have mold... on the roof.  I knew about that from the inspection.

So that is what I will focus on to make me feel better.  It probably has internal mold too - right? and once I started to remodeling the bathroom I would wind up having to rip out all the walls to get rid of the mold - right? and then the structure of the house would be brought into question? (kinda like if you give a mouse a cookie.....)

oh wait I bet the house has mice too!
