Indoor photo location suggestions
Looking for a place for one year old photo shoot since it will likely be too cold outside for him to do photos outdoors and photographer doesn't have a studio.
Have thought of ideas such as a children's bookstore, old fashioned ice cream parlor, etc. but can't seem to find anyplace that looks like a good backdrop for photos. And Im thinking someplace like a children's museum will just be too crowded to try to get decent photos. Any suggestions/ideas are welcome.
Re: Indoor photo location suggestions
I'm new to the area so I'm not sure if there is one in Chicago. But how about a large indoor botanical garden? I've only been aware of the one in Milwaukee http://county.milwaukee.gov/MitchellParkConserva10116.htm But maybe with a little research there is something like this closer to where you live.

Now Nesting from Chicago, IL My nail blog:
I would suggest Garfield Park Conservatory but some of it was destroyed in that awful hail storm we had this past summer
You could try Union Station. It has some beautiful areas. Daley Plaza if it's warm enough. Navy Pier has the stained glass museum and the Crystal Gardens (Winter Wonderfest is also going on).
The Harold Washington Library has an indoor garden. I'd call first for that one, though.
I took photos at the Lincoln Park Conservatory, but it didn't go that well. It's a lot smaller than Garfield Park.
Heavenly Gelato in Logan Square has an old fashioned ice cream parlor quality about it.
