Help! which solar spotlight to purchase to illuminate the house during the holiday season?
I love the elegance when a home is illuminated externally during the holiday season except I have no idea what to purchase to emulate the effect. I don't want cords all over my front yard so I think a solar light would make sense. Many of the solar lights are meant to only illuminate landscaping so I don't think the power and range is enough to light up the entire house. Please advise me as to which light I need achieve the effect without setting my house on fire. I feel like Chevy Chase in National Lampoon Christmas edition

I hope people respond to your post!! I was just coming on here to write a post about house lights as well. We have one small motion sensor light by our front door and 6 solar stakes that go up our front walk. However, the solar lights only come on some of the time which is really annoying, and the other side of our house is completely in the dark regardless.
My husband goes away on work trips a few times a year and I'm a paranoid person regardless so I really want to get some outside lights going that will stay on through the night. Is that even possible with solar lights?
