I am looking at walkers for Zach online and can't seem to pick on out. Which one do you have and what are your like or dislikes about it? And does your LO seem to love it? TIA
Re: Momma's come in...
Can't wait to meet my baby boy!
Jenn I saw those online and they look to stinkin' cute!
Tay, I saw that one two but got a little nervous with some of the reviews have you had any issues with Lulu trying to get out of it or falling out? We have a jumper already so we were thinking Santa would bring him a walker for Christmas
Thanks for the recs girls!

Ok, that makes me feel better. We will totally keep that one on our list of choices then.
Yea I am hoping it he will get a lot of enjoyment out of it once he is able to use it
That is interesting... I will have to talk to our pedi at our appointment next week thanks for the info.
The one I am really leaning towards is this one... clicky. I like it because you can use the seat part or once they are standing and walking or taking steps while holding onto stuff you can use it as standing walker which I like.
Yea we did some research on it last night and like you said, all things in moderation. I love that walker too... what is funny is when I saw it on the website earllier this week I thought that would be the one you would have as soon as I saw Disney on it
This. We were told by our pedi and the preemie program Brady is in that walkers should never be used. They are currently banned in Canada for the reason mentioned above. It can delay their development to walk, they may prefer to walk on their toes instead of their feet and safety issues of the mobility of walkers.
I talked to my pedi today about this and he said they are ok for short periods of time, like if we have to go to the bathroom or while we are cooking dinner. He said that you just don't want them only using their tippytoes to much because it will make their ankles tight and that is what causes problems in their walking development.
so why not just use a bouncer during those times? I def don't have room for 2 big things ya know, so if I had to choose, it'd be the bouncer vs. the walker
Well, for us we have a bouncer already and we wanted to get him a walker as well for not only our house but for when we go over to my parents or the in laws.. it is easier to transport the walker then the big bouncer. I guess it is just also a personal prefrence to have both versus one or the other so he has options and doens't get bored with just one thing.
