Greyhound/Amtrak cost!
Do I live in a bubble? I thought bus/train was cheap?!? My half brother called my dad today and said he was stuck in IN and needed a bus ticket home. (yes a bus ticket) My dad called me to check on it and one way on Greyhound is $172. So I checked the flights, there is no airport within 80 miles of Elkhart, IN. But they have Amtrak, and that is $260 one way!
Never thought taking a train or bus would cost more than flying!

WOW, maybe its because they don't make a lot of trips out of that area?
My niece just got a super cheap plane ticket to fly to PA to see her mom next week for like $150 roundtrip!!

IN to FL? Well that's pretty far so I would expect it to be high.
I had to buy one of my former students a train ticket this summer on amtrack to get down to FAU in boca and just from Tampa to Boca it was like $50 one way if I remember correctly. Still cheaper than flying though unless you randomly stumble on a good deal.
I know it's crazy!
