I want to make 3 diy stockings. These are cute and whimsical but not sure if they're not festive enough. THoughts?

The style, yes. The fabric, no.
How are you doing with sewing? I haven't had as much time to myself to practice as I'd like but I made a tiny doll sized pair of pants as practice the other day. I'm still not great at sewing curvy lines.
I'm getting better. I've been making bean bags. They're easy and fun.
I've done a few things I've seen on Pinterest. I made the cutest cape for Luciana.
I've made a tee shirt for myself but I have to add the sleeves and the collar. Also, I made the seam allowance too big and the shirt is skintight. So it's for at home and for when I wean and the bewbs shrink.

I have fleece snowman fabric just waiting to be turned into pj pants. The only black friday shopping I did was at Joanne fabrics. They had an awesome sale. I grabbed a few patterns because all the Butterick patterns were marked down to 99 cents! One of the patterns I got would have been 19.99 regularly.
Eh, I'm not good at sleeves and collars. Collars are hard.
I've not tried any patterns yet. I've drafted a few of my own by tracing clothes that we currently own onto freezer paper. If you don't have freezer paper, get some. It's magical.
