Christmas Lights

Where is the best place in the metro area to go drive around and look at Christmas lights? My H and I are always looking for cheap entertainment.

Thanks!

Re: Christmas Lights

  • I highly recommend going to see the big oak tree in Bloomington that is strubg top to bottom.  It is beautiful and the homeowner is so nice.

Inver Grove has quite a few houses that do big displays.

For $10 (goes to charity) Phalen Lake in St.Paul has a drive through light display.

  • I second pp about Inver Grove Heights...they have some great light displays
  • Yup - IGH off of 80th street used to have a whole few blocks that had some great light displays and they take food and money donations for families in need at the end.  I think it was called Santa's lane.  I believe they still do it.
