AW: bragging about knitting
So remember a week or so ago I asked about what I needed to get started knitting? DH's grandma gave me two needles and some yarn to play with, and it took me no time to learn using youtube videos (all on my knitting/crochet Pinterest board, no use in me linking them all here). I then bought a circular needle and started on a baby hat (since that's what I really wanted to learn to knit so that I could make), and then had to teach myself how to use DPNs. So I'm pretty proud of myself. It's taken me a long time, and I'm only about 20 rows in (including 10 rows of 2x2 ribbing), but I'm loving it! I will PIP when I finish the hat.

Are you knitting English or Continental?
I had to go look it up, but I'm knitting English simply because that's what the first few videos I watched were. I'm almost ready to start decreasing on the hat I'm working on, and I found a great site on my phone last night, and now I can't get to it, darn it!
