Husqvarna Viking Emerald 183 bobbin troubles (long shot)

So my parents got me this machine for my Christmas/Birthday present. I am a VERY new sewer and while my mom is a home-ec teacher we cannot figure out how to thread the bobbin and the manual isn't much help. I've tried googling but haven't had much luck. Does anyone happen to have this machine or one in this series that can explain how to thread the bobbin?

I have a Viking, different series, but maybe I can help. Love my machine, but they aren't terribly user friendly at first! It's kind of trial/error trying to figure out what to do.
