I have a cool one because I use it almost all the time for DS eczema. It does help but it doesn't seem to do a whole lot. Do you think warm humidifiers help more for sickies?
Re: Warm or cool humidifier?

I run a warm one in our room since she sleeps the majority of the night there. Our room is always cold, so I think it helps with that too, and I do think the warm one loosens her up a bit more when she's sick.
No more baby siggie pics. Boo.
Warm
This is what our Peds recommend too.
Ditto. Some pediatricians caution against using a warm mist humidifier in a baby's room, as the water inside the humidifier is very hot, and could become a burn risk if the humidifier were to be accidentally tipped over during use.
