I'm a MN native that moved away, so I'm sure there are plenty of new places that have opened since I left. I need to get something for my 77 year old aunt who lives in the Mac-Groveland area for Xmas. She is single, and I'm not sure how much she does socially. My dad has been hospitalized for the past month and she has been incredibly helpful during all of this, so I want to give her something to express my gratitude since I can't be there, my brother travels for work, and my stepmom filed for divorce during all of this (it's been quite a drama).
I'm not opposed to doing something delivered, just not Edible Arrangements since I feel like that would be wasted on her. Or, perhaps a gift card to something local. I know she frequents the Lexington often, but I'm sure there are plenty of other things to choose from.
If you have any suggestions, I'd really appreciate it!
Re: Help with a gift suggestion
What does she enjoy doing?
If she sews or knits, Treadle Yard Goods or The Yarnery are in the area.
Tired after a long morning of hiking and swimming.
This is more of a practical versus fun suggestion. But how about Simon delivers or some other grocery delivery service? It's never fun grocery shopping especially with the ice, snow, and the cold.
Maybe this is too out there because she's a little older, but I know I'd love a living social restaurant gift box:
