Christmas Health & Fitness Goals Check-In

I know it's mean to post this the day after the cookie exchange, but I'm doing it anyway. Stick out tongue

DH and I have been perfect angels when it comes to food throughout the week. However, we can't seem to get through a weekend without going out for burgers once. This method seems to be working because I lost 2.4 lbs last week.  Exercise has been bad. I only ran last Tuesday and keep forgetting that we have an elliptical in the basement! I just think, "Oh, there's ice everywhere, I'm not running."  I also had Starbucks 3 times last week instead of the 1 time that I'm "allowed" to have it.

My goal this week is to work out more and keep doing a good job with food throughout the week. And less Starbucks.

  • Good with the food for the most part.  Helps that I haven't been feeling well so my appetite is way down.  Forgot to take my vitamins this weekend!  Argh!  Still did not pick up my calcium supplements.  But glad this post is here.  Taking my multi right now!  And did work out by shoveling snow so that was something!  Big Smile

  • *parades around in "skinny" jeans*

    and by that I don't mean style, I'm wearing the jeans I keep in my closet that I hoped I'd fit back into one day.  They were a little tight this morning, but they're actually just fine now.

    I'm not eating deep fried foods (been almost 6 weeks now!).  There's only been one time where I've been really tempted.  Going completely without has made me realize just how much of that stuff I was eating.

    I'm not exercising as much (read last week's post about my DH...it's just never easy to get on the eliptical).  I've found that keeping my diet in check is what's really getting the results.
