Is it beach weather?

Hi, posting from Philadelphia.

DH and I are taking a long weekend in South Beach this weekend. Weather reports are calling for highs around 77-79 for the weekend. We planned to do nothing but sit by the pool. I'm sure this is probably an annoying question, but is this pool weather around your parts or too cool?

Re: Is it beach weather?

  • You probably won't find much if any locals but there will be a lot of snowbirds who find this weather good for swimming. I don't think I've ever been swimming after October, but in South Florida there is a different definition of "cold".

  • I have a pool and we haven't gone in since late September.  It's "cooled" down a bit for us here.  Although if your staying a hotel, the water might be kept heated.

    Have fun on your trip!

When life hands you a bunch of lemons, make lemonade-call me over and I'll bring the tequila and salt!
